DEADLY BEAUTY P1
This collection includes a range of designs from traditional weaving techniques to innovative ideas. It addresses the brief of Protection - Visibility - Movement.
Taking inspiration from the Man-o-war jellyfish, I was inspired by the tentacle structures and movements with a high focus on texture, combining contrasting yarns such as monofilament and cotton.
This project was also designed for a textile innovation category of Project Glowear Competition, promoting visibility through fashion through the inclusion of retroreflective yarn.
